Pricing
There are many variables in pet grooming, such as whether your pet has long or short hair and also if the hair is matted and tangled. Therefore, there is no set pricing for grooming. Our groomers set individual prices for each pet at the time of grooming, largely based on the time required to complete the chosen service. Factors which determine the price of a service include:

  • Amount of scissor work
  • Brushing
  • Clipping
  • Degree of matting
  • Difficulty of the cut
  • Disposition of the animal
  • Drying time
  • Length of hair
  • Size of pet

We have provided a price range guideline below based on our typical experiences with specific breeds.

Standard Appointments for "hair-cut" dogs start at $80 when on a 4-6 week regular schedule.  There is a minimum appointment charge of $70.

$80 - $95:  Aussies, Border Collies, Cockapoos, Goldens, Great Danes, Huskys, Lhasas, Maltese, Scotties, Shepherds, Shih Tzus, Spaniels (Cocker, Springer, Cavalier King Charles), Westies

Poodles:
Toy & Miniature Poodles:  $85-115 for a basic lamb cut (essentially one length over the entire body with hand-scissored top knot, ears, and tail) with clean face (shaved face), and there is a 5 to 6 week maximum grooming schedule set

**Clean feet will be an additional $10-20 depending on how your dog handles the process.  Most customers ask for clean feet, which we will certainly attempt, however most dogs do not enjoy having clean feet done.  They tug and pull back on their feet, which increases the stress on your dog and the potential for injury, including clipper nicks and irritation.  If your dog is amiable to clean feet, we will do it, however if your dog is adverse to clean feet, we will not put them through the stress.

Standard Poodles:  We are very sorry, but we are currently not accepting any more Standard Poodles into our schedule.  We have found that even a very basic cut without styling on a standard takes a significant amount of time – usually about 2 hours each dog, which is a lot on the dog.  In a salon, they are able to take a break between stages of the grooming process, and in the van we have to just work straight through.  The dogs tend to get tired and become apprehensive about the groom.  They are subsequently less than excited to see us the next time.  Standards require a higher level of grooming than any other breed.  Prices start at $115 per groom for a basic Lamb Cut if the coat is in good condition and there is a 5 to 6 week maximum grooming schedule set.  Most customers ask for “clean feet,” which we will certainly attempt, however most Standards do not enjoy having clean feet done.  They tug and pull back on their feet, which increases the stress on your dog and the potential for injury, including clipper nicks and irritation.  If your Standard is amiable to clean feet, we will do it, however if your dog is adverse to clean feet, we will not put them through the stress
