In early 2015, Adam found a better opportunity working for Monroe Town N’ Country Veterinarian as a groomer and also became a veterinary assistant, where he learned many valuable skills regarding pet health.
Adam has volunteered at the Newtown Animal Shelter and currently volunteers at Monroe SPCA. He has owned several rescue dogs and has rescued cats. Adam’s ultimate goal is to build an excellent long lasting rapport with you and your pet!
Corrie & Andrew Fisher
We began grooming together - side by side - in August 2008, and got married shortly after in September.
Since then, we have focused our efforts on providing excellent grooming services as well as retail delivery to our customers. We have also begun to educate ourselves on canine nutrition in order to further help our customers, and now carry a full line of high-quality dog foods & treats. Corrie now makes customized home-cooked dog food for those who have special health or diet requirements.
Many people think that it is a horrible idea to work in such a small space with your spouse, BUT we loved it!! We actually got along better during that 14 months than we ever had before. Now that we each have our own vans, we make it a point to still schedule a few days a month to work together. The Fairy Dogmother has given us both the opportunity of a life time. We have found a career which we are both passionate about and devoted too. We feel fulfilled every day.
In 2009, we started our own furry family! We adopted our Beagles from DAWS.... Parker came home on Memorial Day, then Penny on Halloween.
In June of 2011, we purchased our first home in Sandy Hook and now our pups have their very own yard to run around in!
In February of 2013, we welcomed our first (human) baby! We are beyond excited to add another dog-loving person to this world!!!
Adam is a very kind, compassionate, and gentle groomer, so we are very proud to add him to our team as of August 2015! He is a true pet lover and State Certified Dog Groomer who wants to help your pet feel fancy and clean without ever leaving home! He specializes in keeping your pets safe and stress-free at all times in the salon. Adam is Pet First Aid Certified, and has worked as a veterinary assistant.
Adam first became interested in grooming by starting as a bather for PetCo in 2013. Adam graduated from the Connecticut K9 Education Center in July of 2014 and the returned to PetCo as a groomer after graduation.
